Reps & Sets

The most rudimentary expresson used in weight training is definitely rep. "Rep" is an abbreviation for repetition and indicates executing one total motion of your current exercise. For example, if you were doing a flat barbell curl you would slowly lift your arms all the way up then slowly lower them. Undertaking a number of continuous reps is known as a set. Reps and Sets will vary based on what your are trying to accomplish with your routine.

Rest

The Greeks are believed to have been the first to discover that if a sick person were allowed to rest they would recover faster. Bodybuilders often forget that a good nights rest is just as important as regularly doing squats or bench presses.
